Stephen wins a DARCH Horse Award 2014
In November 2014, AfC's Stephen Choi was awarded a DARCH Horse Award for his outstanding contribution as a consultant in Australia.
A year at the Bartlett - building a more equal futureThe Bartlett, the built environment department at UCL, ran a short piece on 'women in the built environment', featuring AfC's Sofie who said that
“We need more women professors, directors, policy makers, heads of department, planners, construction workers, commissioning clients – the list is endless”. In fact, we do not just need more women in these posts, but a greater diversity of people across the board: people from all ages, backgrounds and cultures. Sofie is listed as 1 of 13 Stars of Building Science in Building 4 Change's Virtual Academy of Excellence (Sept 2013).
